About Viable Growth

Viable Growth exists to help SMEs understand what is actually happening in their marketing before spending serious money.

Too often, businesses are pushed into hiring agencies, signing retainers or backing ideas that sound convincing but are not grounded in reality. Decisions are made quickly, budgets are committed, and clarity only comes after the money has gone.

Viable Growth was set up to change that.

Built for SMEs, not hype

We work specifically with small and medium sized businesses. Businesses where time matters, cash matters, and decisions have real consequences.

Modern marketing is full of tools, platforms and promises. AI has only added more noise. While tools can be useful, they do not understand local markets, real world constraints or how SMEs operate day to day.

Our role is to cut through that noise and help you see what is really going on.

What we do differently

We do not start by selling campaigns or services.

We start by helping you understand what you are already doing, what is missing or unclear, what is likely to work next, and what is probably not worth doing.

From there, you decide how to move forward. Sometimes that leads to action. Sometimes it leads to stopping or changing direction. Both are good outcomes.

Independent and impartial

Viable Growth is deliberately independent. We are not tied to media spend, platforms or retainers.

That means our advice is based on what makes sense for you, not what benefits us. Our job is to give you clarity so you can spend with confidence or choose not to spend at all.

Alex Jackson

Managing Director

Alex set up Viable Growth to help SMEs make clearer decisions about their marketing before committing time, money or trust to the wrong things.

He has worked across manufacturing, local services and SME environments, where he has seen how marketing is often sold in ways that do not reflect the reality of running a small or medium sized business. Too many decisions are driven by trends, tools or pressure rather than proper understanding.

Alex focuses on helping SMEs step back and see what is actually happening. What is working, what is not, what is missing, and what is worth doing next. The aim is clarity, not activity for the sake of it.

He is deliberately cautious about one size fits all solutions, particularly as AI and automation have become the headline for many agencies. Tools can be useful, but they do not replace judgement, context or experience.

At Viable Growth, Alex works to keep advice practical, independent and grounded. Sometimes that leads to action. Sometimes it leads to stopping or changing direction. Both are valid outcomes if they are made with confidence.

If you are looking for hype, guarantees or shortcuts, Viable Growth is probably not the right fit. If you want straight answers and informed decisions, that is exactly what the business was built to provide.
